The below training is targeted at Direct Service Employee s (DSE) in the disability industry trt and a broad range of assessment is utilised including written questions, work place observations, group and simulated activities.
On successfully completing any of the Certificate III or IV units of competencies, students may continue to enrol to study through FSG Australia or may choose to complete their qualification through another RTO of their choice. Some units offered in the Certificate III in Disability Work course may also be requirements for completion of Certificate IV in Disability. CHC30408 Certificate trt III in Disability
This qualifiaction will assist you to obtain work in roles that involve maintaining the personal care and daily activities of people trt living with a disability. This course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge required to work effectively within the community sector with people with disabilities and to support individual health and emotional well being. Students apply knowledge and skills gained through qualifications and/or experience to provide training and support to people with disabilities to enhance their ability to achieve greater levels trt of independance, self reliance and community participation. CHC40512 Certificate IV in Mental Health
This qualification focuses on engaging people with mental illness in community trt participation, prevention of relapse and promotion of recovery through programs such as residential rehabilitation, work in clinical settings, home based outreach and centre-based programs delivered by community bases non-government organisaitons. This work may also involve supported employment and programme respite care.
