On Monday, when I was free, I went somsagt to the DMV (DMV) in Georgetown to get an ID card - good to have and you will not have to carry their passports everywhere too, feels better to leave the passport at home - safer! Anyways then it was closed. So the following day, Tuesday, I was also vacant, then I went darn it there again - I would have those ID card! : P Be there o the queue was a mile-long type, haha, nah but they took good half an hour before I came to the reference desk, not so pjåkigt. To get the ID card you have with you: passport, social los zetas security number and proof of residency (I had with me an envelope from Bank of America with my name o address on), it shows up all the stuff for the man at the information, he agrees envelopes from bank of america, I must apparently have a bill I can show up, I get a total blackout and only: I DO NOT PAY THE BILLS; I'M FROM SWEDEN OK? haha, so fucking sick. He only: EEHM? I fumble with my papers o trying to show off my Visa papers with both my name and address, he approves. After they get me a form that I should fill in with lots of information ... A few minutes later, someone shouts my name and I walk up to a woman, she asks for all the stuff again o I show up everywhere. She agrees NOT my Visa papers that proof of residency, I need according to her declaration that I live in the house from the people los zetas I live with, and then a copy of a bill and ID of the people I live with .... Ehm? In the second, everything felt just so driven. Went out from the DMV and was depressed like never before, was so cruelly los zetas disappointed and angry at those stupid nasty people in there, fy f * n But luckily I got hold of my host parents and R helped los zetas me with the forms and he faxed them there I needed. So I went back to the office again and they had received the paperwork in the fax. Everything was approved and I had to pay 20 dollars for a DC ID card with my picture, name, birthday and address ... Yep all this trouble for a stupid ah * ll of small ID card, seriously? Once I got my ID card, I saw that my middle name was misspelled, went in there again o the guard at the information desk just: But are you here again? This is the type 3rd time? haha. So I explained the situation and he sent me to the same woman who printed out ID card. She had to do it again and this time they were spelled correctly. But suddenly I saw that only half of my last name was, because all my first name and formal name occupied the entire space on the card were not for the name space. Well, I went back again and they might print out a new ID card for the 3rd time. Noticed that some people had gathered around the woman who arranged my ID and all stood and laughed ... haha wtf? Thanks for that as well. Finally got my ID card after having spent three hours inside and outside the DMV. Note: Here in the U.S. you have to print the weight and length of his ID card, but like what if you increase or decrease weight? haha, what happens then? : P After a hard and depressing day at the DMV, I got an sms by Simone where she asks if I wanted to meet at Union Station to eat Ben & Jerry's ice cream - they shared namely out FREE ice cream at B & J on Tuesday across Washington. It is said to heck no to. So I met up with Simone and we took us varsinn cookie dough o then we went to her house and saw the "tangled" with her host children, then we went to my house and talked to my host family, and then we watched another movie down in my apartment. Yes, the day got a reasonably good end anyway.
